Transform© is the solution to your document enhancement and control needs.  It increases look, security and traceability, while adding centralization and reducing steps for typical report preparation and routing processes.  Transform© utilizes virtual port technology which eliminates the need to be custom 'hooked' into your existing software systems.  Transform© is expandable and cluster-able to grow with your business and increased printing volume.  Transform© is viable in both Windows and Unix environments and on WAN's as well as LAN's.  Transform© is "the" solution for document enhancement, centralization and control.

What Is Transform?
Transform© is a stand-alone software application which uses virtual-port printer technology to intercept, enhance and redirect text-based report documents. Transform© consists primarily of a "Job Monitor/Processing engine" which is installed onto a server on your network.

What is meant by "processing jobs"?
Since most businesses today use the popular Microsoft Excel product, you are likely to already posses a copy. By using a powerful product like Excel that you already own, the purchase price of the Transform© suite can be kept lower than many competitors because there is no need to provide graphics, charting and spreadsheet libraries with the Transform© system.

Invisible Communication Process
The entire communications process is completely invisible if Excel is minimized to the taskbar. It's also incredibly fast. All jobs are intricately logged for tracing and debugging purposes, as shown in the figure below. Literally hundreds of commands per second can be issued through the communication channel.

Client Viewer
The inQ Viewer is a miniature version of the Job Monitor which provides queue management instead of processing. The InQ Viewer allows remote clients to view the Incoming Job queue. This tool can be made available on any Windows machine on the network that can communicate with the main database.

Archive Viewer
The archive reports screen contains a large amount of search fields allowing browsing and searching of records on just about every single piece of data in the session headers.

Map Manager
The Map Manager screen allows quick and simple changes to be made to the report translation map. This is very valuable for changes to forms and eliminates the need to employ a 3rd party forms printing company.

Each table on the JOB MONITOR screen are database queues, The top table is the 'incoming' queue and the bottom table is the 'archive' queue. When jobs are picked up by the virtual printer ports, the job data is piped thru a special "map" and imported into the database. After being imported, the job will be placed into the 'incoming' queue. The JOB MONITOR engine will then take the job from there and begin processing it. After processing, the job will drop into the archive queue for a specified number of days after which time it will expire. While a job is archived, it may be reviewed for tracing purposes, analyzed or resent back thru the processing engine.

Jobs may be paused individually or the entire engine may be temporarily paused. Jobs are processed by priority first, then by using standard First-In, First-Out logic. Note the level of detail for each job. Even greater detail is possible with optional job logging.

Transform© utilizes Microsoft Excel as its primary enhancement tool. After a job appears in the 'incoming' Transform© queue, the JOB MONITOR opens a communications channel to Excel and starts feeding the job data into a pre-formatted spreadsheet. After the data is sent, Transform© instructs Excel to print or save the document appropriately. At this point Transform© can optionally email or fax the documents if directed to do so. This entire process happens in only a few milliseconds per page.
